The Horizon At 77Th Hotel - Myrtle Beach

We had an amazing week with friends! The place is quiet yet just a short walk to the beach. We enjoyed relaxing by the new sun deck after fun days at Brookgreen Gardens and Ripley's Aquarium. Our condo was spacious and clean, perfect for our group getaway.

The living room couch was a bit uncomfortable after some time, disappointing.

Very helpful and excellent staff, it was fairly nice stay.

Overall I really enjoyed that nice hotel. The place had a special atmosphere. The setting was good, really close to $ 24 to airport and local restaurants and the grande shores behind the building to checkin. It also was close to almost everything I wanted to do.

Everything was great from the great service to the healthy food. Got brand-new, nicely decorated room with all amenities.

I felt that it was very relaxing and the service was very good. It was very clean and the other guests were very nice as well. I would definitely come back.

I would say that the staff provided immediate service as far as the need of additional towels and help with reprograming the televisions. I also was extremely comfortable with the visible security that was present at night in and around the underground parking. I also appreciated the secruity reminding the guests on their balcony that were loud making it annoying to sit and enjoy the balcony. I also appreciated all of the supplies that were available in the kitchen. The pool area was extremely nice.

I definately did not like the price for the quality of the hotel. We spotted several roaches coming through the vents. There were also spots and stains on the couches that didn't make sitting on it a pleasant feeling. Lastly, the comforter was extremly uneasy to touch. The texture was rough and had fuzz balls.

Horizon Resort is a wonderful hotel nestled near a quiet residential area. The view from the upper floors is magnificent! You can see the landscape of the nearby trees and a perfect view of the ocean on the east side. It was so relaxing to sit out on the balcony and watch the sun rise and set over the ocean. The hotel was not noisy like some are at the beach and the rooms were well stocked and very clean.

The rooms look just like they are pictured on the webpage. The bed was king size and comfortable. The room had amenities of home and beautiful interior decorations that made you not want to leave the room. The staff were available when needed, but did not disturb you. I will definitely go back to Horizon Resort again, and if you haven't been there give them a try.

There is little security in your parking garage. Anyone can enter at two locations at ground level and have access to elevators leading to the entire hotel. Surely you can do better than that.

I liked everything. I do wish it was oceanfront but the walk was very easy. I had read some bad reviews. But, the staff was very nice, rooms looked great and very clean. Housekeeping came by everyday. Even the elevators were clean. Please don't believe the bad comments, I was very impressed!!!! The pools were also clean. I am very picky and I have no complaints.
